I’m originally from New Jersey, and in 2015 my family and I packed up and headed south in search of a slower pace and a fresh start. After moving around a bit, we finally settled in Anderson County, just below Clemson and Pendleton, and it’s where we’ve put down roots.

Since moving to South Carolina, I’ve been able to lean into my love for simple living—raising chickens, growing a garden, and canning what I harvest each season. Homeschooling my youngest has been one of the most rewarding parts of this chapter of life and keeps me connected to the community around us.
